Story

Ping Tung Foods Corp. was founded on March 31st in 1982 in Wanluan, Ping Tung. Besides devoting to our profession, food manufacturing, we have been continuously expanding new businesses with our affiliated enterprises. During the growing process , we also directly or indirectly facilitated the prosperous of the society and the nation’s economic growth. Since Ping Tung Foods Corps. was founded, we have been holding the management philosophy of “innovation, speed, enthusiasm, progressiveness and value” to achieve business diversification , broaden horizons, and value talents. Under the principles of nice quality, good service, excellent credit and fair prices, the founding spirit of “trustworthiness” has been shaped. “Innovation, speed, enthusiasm,progressiveness and value,” which I proposed , wasin response to the integration of “knowledge economy” to enhance international competitiveness after Taiwan joined the WTO.

Under the management culture of “trustworthiness,” we insist that the quality of our products should reach advanced internationalstandards and be recognized by the mass consumers. We insist on never acting against our conscience to make harmful and jerry-built products and never cheating customers by false advertising . Instead,we maintain that the prices should be reasonable, and the profits should be given back to the society to seek justice. Such management philosophy will make staff in the Ping Tung Foods Corp. united, while holding honest as the doctrine and hard work as the working spirit, continuously seeking innovation and improvement on products and management , in order to provide consumers the most perfect products and service quality. This will enable us to win the trust of all mass consumers, which serves as the cornerstone of sustainable management and development of the company.

On July, 2010, the paper factory and rice flour factory obtained the international quality certificationISO 9001: 2008, and the rice flour factory obtained the food safety and sanitation certification ISO 22000:2005.

Enterprise Group

The Lin's family had founded an oil company and a feed company under the management of the last parent, Mr. Lin Engui. In the early days of the 1946's, the Lin's family was entrusted by government to designate an agricultural products factory under the United States's aid program to Taiwan. Now the brothers not only develop their own businesss but also support each other. Currently the enterprise group include several company below :

From seeing rice, observing rice, experiencing rice, understanding rice to interpreting rice, we work toilfully to make every whole grain of rice.We pursue innovation, make changes, expand territory to explore new markets. We hope that we hold the belief of "growing rice refinedly year by year" as the motivation of developing rice industry, and step towardsrefined culture together.

2002

Responded to the call of the government by being the first company in Taiwan that imported American round grain rice, Calroses, after Taiwan joined WTO.

2001

Added the second production line for kraft paper bags.

2000

Founded East Lin Trading Company which specialized in international trade of food ingredient and purchases and sales of commodities. The company also set up the first set of wet mill with cooling water equipment in Taiwan to produce high-quality andwet mill with water rice flour.

1999

Acted as a selling agent for Thai tapioca modified starch for food industries to Taiwan.

1988~1997

Continually invested in establishing paper bags factories to produce kraft paper bags.

1989

Exportedround grain rice flour to Southeast Asia.

1984

Exportedround grain rice flour to Japan.

1982

This company was founded on March 31st, 1982. The main products included superiorglutinous rice flour, long grain rice flour and round grain rice flour.We also purchased and sold rice and grain, and acted as an agent foralpha tapioca starch for food industries.
